Did you say Charades?

Hello friends and family!! How's it goin?

My week has gone by so fast!! I guess that's what happens when you have a talk to give on Sunday... time seems to slip by. hahah oh well. Anyway, here are some highlights from my week!

This week my district and I took every opportunity we could to chat and get to know each other! It was really fun to jump on zoom after class and eat lunch with everyone and then chat until everyone had to go do something else.

On Thursday I was able to go to Granny Annies with Zac and Megan! Did you know they changed the name?!?!?!?! It's now just Annies. But it's still good!

We had an incredible TRC (practice teaching appointment) on Wednesday. We taught her last week about prayer and this week she gave the closing prayer!! During that sweet and simple prayer, I felt God's love for her so much! Not gonna lie I started to tear up a little. I just felt like a proud parent and it made me so happy!! I can't wait to be able to do that for the next 18 months!!!

We also had a lesson this week in gestures! If you don't know what that means, basically you use gestures with someone who doesn't know ASL or English and they are deaf. So basically it's just a big game of Charades, Pictionary, and showing pictures from our gospel art books. Not gonna lie it's soo hard! But I was proud of our lesson we taught. I'm pretty sure she understood our message that God loves her and we should always pray to him. We set up a return appointment successfully so I'll let you guys know how that went after that happens :)

I'm so grateful for this opportunity and I hope yall have a wonderful week!!! Love you!!
