The best gift I could ever ask for!

Hey friends and family!!! Merry Christmas!

So This week was my last week of MTC and I'm soo sad!!!! I was seriously blessed with the best district and teachers!! I got my flight plans to head out to California on January 5th and 3 pm so that's fun! until then I get to quarantine because CA is on lockdown... yay for me!

On Monday I had a dentist appointment. Also, my comps and I were one of the lucky companionships to be chosen to teach in gestures! yay! We taught the Godhead and I was actually really impressed with how much information we were able to give in a short 15-minute lesson of charades!

On Tuesday we had a TRC. We thought it would be our last one, but halfway through we all had a feeling that we should do one more.

Wednesday was my first day of quarantine... and my last day of MTC classes :( My district and I decided it would also be a great day to do one last prank on our teachers. So we all showed up to both of our classes dressed up as Nativity characters!! It was so awesome and we ended up telling the story too! Later during class, we all had to do our final project of interpreting a church inspirational message. Mine was "Good Things to Come" by elder Holland. If yall haven't seen that one recently go watch it. It's my favorite and such a good message!!!

On Christmas eve I was able to zoom with my Wood side family and that was a party. We all did a talent show and our family sang/signed the song picture a Christmas. I was soo proud of my family and it brought me to tears when I walked in on them all practicing.

Christmas was pretty special to be able to spend the day with family. I love finding the many hidden blessings of COVID and this is definitely one of them!

Today was our very last class ever and it was a testimony meeting. Our families were invited and it was a tender moment to share that with them. I loved hearing everyone's testimonies and I wanted to share a scripture that has been a big part of my testimony during my MTC experience.
Ether 12:27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be Humble: and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.
I just love this because it reminds me that I'm not perfect and my weaknesses are there to give me humility. However, with the Lord, he can help me conquer that and turn my weaknesses into strengths.

One last thank you to my wonderful district and teachers: Thank you guys all so so so much! You have made a huge impact on me, my mission, and my life. I have loved every second I have gotten to spend with you! As Sister Beeman put it with a quote from Winnie the Pooh "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard". I love you guys! Thanks for being the best Christmas gift I never knew I wanted!!

Love you all have a great week!!
