I Survived My First Transfer!!

Hello friends and family!! How goes it?!

Yes. I am alive and actually out here in good ol California!! I have had a blast of a first week!! So on Tuesday Sister Brimhall, Sister Bray and I (people from my MTC district) all met up at the SLC airport and flew out here!

So cool story real quick. Sister Brimhall and I were waiting for Sister Bray to be ready to go through TSA and many people came up and talked to us. One guy came uo to us and he asked us if we had an extra copy of the Book of Mormon. He said that he hasnt read it in a long time but thought that seeing us was a sign that he should read again. Sister Brimhall pulled out her personal copy, took out all the bookmarks and gave that to him. It was the sweetest thing and I LOVED that I got to start of my mission with that experience.

Wow this week has flown!! And to address the title.. yes you read right! I just finished my first transfer! So since I am an ASL sister I arrived in the mission 1 week before transfers. So when we got to California our Mission President and his wife picked us up and took us to the Mission Office. And guess what!! I FINALLY got to meet Sister Meyer in person!!! Breifly... but it happened!! I was so stoked! Anywho President told us who was going with who/where to go and Sister Brimhall and I got assigned to Sister Hoopes.

We're serving in the Anaheim 6th ward and our apt is in Yorba Linda. It has been such a fun week and it went by wayy too fast. Some highlights were making many deserts for lessons/service, teaching some of our friends about family history, painting rocks with uplifting messages, and meeting all the wonderful people of the A6 ward area!! The people here are so nice and so much fun to talk to! I feel like I just want to meet/talk to everyone!

Anyway. Transfers are tomorrow and I'm going to the ASL area!! I'm so excited and I'll let you know more about it next week!! In the mean time.. enjoy these pictures :)

Love you all!! Have a fantastic week!!!
