Dollar Store = Less Stress

 Hi everybody!! How's it going? I hope yall are doin good!

This week we had interviews with president Platt and let's just say this is gonna be a fun ride! XD haha 

On Wednesday we got to have a lesson with Juana!!!! I was so excited to meet her because she's one of our full gesture members. Man it blows my mind everytime i think about how we can communicate in gestures. I understood for the most part and I know that was only because the spirit was on my side. We had a good lesson about the plan of salvation and we set up another lesson for this next week!!

On Thursday we had Exchanges!! So this means that me or my companion and one of our STLs (Sister Training Leaders) switch places for a day. So I went to the STLs area for the day and one of them came to the deaf branch with sister hardy. It was really cool to see the english area and in each of our lessons I could see the Lords hand working. At first I wasn't too sure about this whole leaving my companion and didn't see the point. But long story short it was truly inspired that I went there that day. We were in a lesson with one of the members and he started talking about this church movie that I watched recently and Sister Granger was clueless. I was able to connect with him about that and I lead my first lesson!! Yay!! 

On Friday we had our interviews with President Platt. After the interview Sister Hardy and I were a wee bit stressed and we were just driving home talking about it and then we looked over and saw a dollar store!! So something about us is that we LOVE the dollar store! So we decided we needed to go and check it out. We bought some cross stitch things and now Sister Hardy is showing me how to do it! It was so good. 

On Saturday we did some more filming for our FB page. We went on a short hike and the view was beautiful! Pro tip:wear good shoes when hiking...... not leather slip on shoes with holes while you walk on a sandy path🤦‍♀️
