Hey friends and family, What's up?

This week went by pretty fast! Not too much happened... but here's the highlights :)

• We did our language study with the North ASL Sisters everyday this week and I think that was really helpful to bounce more ideas around. 

• We had some good lessons with members.

• We went on a few walks down at the park and met some new people... Sadly they aren't deaf.. but we may have found people for some other missionaries :)

• We had a really cool devotional about interpersonal relationships and how we can communicate better and make the other person feel understood.

MIRACLE!!!! Okay. So the past 2 P Days I have run into Deaf people!!! It's so crazy because we don't run into deaf people any other day, but when we go to the store or to a resturaunt on P Day we've met a deaf person. It's crazy! Last week we went to lunch with some other missionaries and while walking in I noticed an ily hand on the back of someones car. So I turned to everyone and said if they see anyone signing let me know. Funny enough when we got seated, they just so happened to be at the table next to us!! Crazy! So we decided that everything S Wickens and I said we would sign too. We eventually got the attention of the deaf guy and we had a good conversation. We gave him a card with our VP and our phone number too. He didn't call us this week... but we talked to a deaf person and I'm taking that as a win!!
