I'm a murdurer?!🤧

Oh my goodness. It has been so long since I last wrote a real email. Sorry for keeping yall in the dark! Here are a few highlights from the past monthish?

• We had an ET and Sister Hardy came with us (I think that's when I wrote my last email.....)
• We got to go bowling with one of our Deaf friends!! He is so pro!!!
• We went to a reptile zoo for S Hardys last full PDay!
• We got to drive a lot of places and invite people to our branch BBQ
• We had a branch BBQ!!!!!! Seriously so much fun!!!! We were able to chat with our members more and build more trust. Plus some random Deaf people were able to come and it was a wonderful excuse to call everyone in our VP (Video phone) and invite them to our activity!!!! Wooooo!
• We went on a short hike thing to film for our FB page! It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!
• Sister Wickens FINALLY got to go to yogurt land
• I hit my 7 month mark!!!! Dang!!! I never thought I'd get here! And now I'm about half way to 8 months! Crazy Sauce!
• We had THE COOLEST presentation by a member about the BoM. He loves to study and gave us a wonderful presentation about how the BoM happened here in N America and such. So Cool!
• We went on a cool hike for S Hardys last P Day and then went to an antique store :)
• Our Zone is the best and won the missions social media challenge and we got to spend an evening with our mission president and wife at their home for a BBQ! So fun!
• We threw a killer funeral for S Hardy. The N Sisters made a campfire cake and we were able to eat cake and chat. It was really good

Okay now that we're caught up to this week here's the email :)

On Tuesday I killed Sister Hardy :'(  Literally. Hardest goodbye of my life. We took her to the misson office with all the rest of the people going home and gave eachother our last hugs and then I got to send her home. Luckly my wonderful family was able to go give her a hug for me 12 hrs later :) I am so grateful I was able to have such a good mission mom and now best friend. Thanks for all you do for me!

The next day was kinda interesting we went to Zone council and I had a fun realization: I am now one of the oldest in this zone.... I don't know how I feel about that... I think there is only 1 other Elder who is older than me. Since when am I old?

We had like 3 asl missionary meetings and I feel like we're gonna get a lot done this transfer. We set up ASL classes and planned for a few events we're gonna have. it's gonna be awesome!

We were able to go to a sweet YSA activity for our deaf YSA members.... sadly only one of our elders friends showed up but we had a sweet game of 4 square going. I even made it to the king spot like 5 times

We went to one of our members memorial services and that was pretty.... interesting to say the least. It was being interpreted into 3 different languages (English, Spanish, and ASL) Fun to interpret... when I could hear the interpreter speaking english.... he talked pretty quiet.. but it was a good test of my hearing and interpreting skills!

YALL!!!!! MY GESTURE MEMBER JUANA BORE HER TESTIMONY AT CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can't tell the excitement coming from that sentence. Here it is one more time. My GESTURE MEMBER bore her TESTIMONY at church!!!!! She stood up in front of the whole congregation and bore her testimony!!!! I have been trying to get her to do this since I got here and she FINALLY did it!!!!!!!!!! Man the spirit was so strong! I'm so grateful for the gift of tounges for helping me voice for her because my voicing was in pretty complete sentences (which i struggle with with normal ASL) and I understood all that she was saying! Thank you so much Spirit!!!!!!!! Man not gonna lie I most definately teared up a couple times...

Man.. Sorry for the long email.. but I guess that's what you get for being patient

Love yall so so so much!!!!

Love Sister Snell 🤟🏻
