"Hearing People are Weird" 😂 Dec 20 2021

 Alrighty! here's the actual email for the week :) 

We had transfers on Tuesday!! AND it was POURING!!!!!!!!!!!! Man we got SOAKED! crazy sauce! but it was still good! I met sister Richards at the mission office and then we got told that we actually didn't have an apartment yet... I guess the elders before us didn't think the apartment was suitable for sisters... so all our stuff just chilled in our car ALL day! so that was fun! after we got all our stuff moved to the car we had a Social Media meeting at the office. So we went to that and then right after that we had to go and give a brief SM training to the new missionaries coming in... and also pick up our trainee! So fun! We went and talked to people and we got our cute trainee (Sister Westover) And we have been having a blast!!!! After we picked up Sister Westover (at 9pm......) we FINALLY got our apt!!! CRAZY!!!!!

we did lots of SM work in the office and such (as we should) and I'm so so excited to be able to have this cute SM family! I love them all and we are just thriving! I'm learning so so much and my brain hurts lots... but it's so fun. So yay! We figured out that my role will be primarily reporting and training missionaries on SM finding! I'm loving all of this and it'll be a party and a half once I fully figure everything out!

We had an AMAZING lesson with this member family (The Blackmans) and there wasn't a single dry eye! The spirit was so so so strong! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to serve in a hearing ward and serve in this ward! It's the best!

Okay last thing. Hearing culture is sooooo weird!!! I forget what it's like and I've done so many things out of the ordinary because I've been so use to Deaf culture for the past year so if anyone wants to teach me how to live in the Hearing world that would be much appreciated
