Queen Mary Unrolled My Windows
Hey yall!! It's been a few weeks, so hold on tight and buckle your seatbelts cause it's been a bumpy ride. Heeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrreeeeeee
I guess I haven't written an email since December 20th..... soo rip. but anyway. Christmas was pretty good! We had a really good Zone conference and got a sweet letter from my parents. Thanks Mom and Dad! We spent Christmas Eve/Day with the Blackmuns (my new mission family) and it was amazing! We have been going over to their house every morning to work out together and it's a party!
JACOB!!!!!!!
Okay So the other Social Media Elders has this friend named Jacob. He's literally a genius! He's 20, has a PHD, his own personal orchestra, and is triple majoring in philosophy, music, and nursing. CRAZY!! So we helped teach him and he got baptized!! Wooooo! It was so good. Such a sweet moment. He wrote each of us our own private pieces. Mine is called "Returning Home From War" because I am going home soon. He put some really low pitches in there so Deaf people can feel it. And then he also added a horn section because I play the trumpet. It's BEAUTIFUL!!!! So Shoutout Jacob!! We also got to go to the LA Temple Visitor Center in the pouring rain and that was a party too!
We got to go to downtown Disney again (we were filming some content for the pages ) it was so fun to go with the SM team! I love this family of mine!

So we got a call from Bishop telling us that someone wants to be baptized. We were like sweet! Who? He told us it was still confidential but he'll let us know when it isn't ... okay? The next day he called to tell us that it was Rich. So Rich has been coming to church with his active member family for the past 30 years. He hasn't gotten baptized because 1. He said he was being lazy. His wife was doing good enough with the kids and he didn't need to do it himself. and 2. He was waiting for a sign that it was the right time. It was amazing to be able to teach him. He was so prepared and it was such a great experience. It's also kinda fun to say that we found him on Tuesday and then baptized him on Sunday. Anyway, That was such a sweet and tender mercy. (It was my first baptism in my area, and the first in our area in the past year!) I got to play the piano and it was a really sweet and simple baptism.
Okay now for the weird stuff of the week.... Yes, Just this week. it's been pretty wack.
Okay so first off. To explain my title. We went to film this light house for a video for our page and it was beautiful! It was this really cute dock area and it was across from the Queen Mary. Sister Westovers sister loves that stuff so we were taking pictures with it (across the harbor). Cool Huh? Okay now for the weird part. So I've heard that the Queen Mary is haunted and such and that people have weird stuff happening to them in the area and such, but I've never really believed it... until Wednesday. We finished filming and such and walked back to our car. So when we got to our car all of our windows were ROLLED DOWN! I can 1000% Promise you that we did. not. leave. it. that. way! But when we got back to our car ALL of them were rolled down!!! It was the craziest thing ever! Thankfully nothing was stolen and it was just a little wack. Kinda shook us.. but it's fine. We blasted Reggae music so all the bad vibes would go away.
I discovered that I have superhuman strength! So I opened the cupboard the other day and the door just fell off. I swear I was just opening it (as you do) normally one day just minding my own business *cue OCO*(if you know you know)... and then FLASH BAM ALAKAZAM! it fell off!!! My comps and I were so confused and we decided that I wasn't allowed to touch anything in the kitchen again.... RIP me.... AND THEN Today (Sunday) I was minding my own business (again) and went to grab some food from the fridge.. and then my super human strength kicked in! The WHOLE DOOR of the fridge FELL OFF!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH! I was SHOOOK! I swear I was doing the exact same thing I always do..... and then it jsut fell! So I try to fix it and I did an okay job with a temporary fix until the maintenance guy could come fix it. My hands were all greasy and I needed to wash them off so I went to the sink.... and then my superhuman strength HIT AGAIN!!!! I turned on the faucet and the stinking handle came off in my hands! HELLO???? Did I just get so spiritually fed at Stake Conference that the spirit was too strong to let the things not break? My strength could not be held back. But anyway. I'm really confused and now I think I'm just UBER accident prone... oh oh oh and then. and then! I rolled my ankle while walking out of the church building later that night RIP me.
Anyway... Long story short.. we also were in a quad today (sunday) because one of the other sisters in the zone got super dehydrated and had to go to the ER. So that was also pretty fun! Wooo. Party Hard!
