SHE’S HOME! APRIL 26TH 2022
Sister Lexie Snell testimony April 26,2022.
OK, so I just wanted to share a little bit of my testimony of Jesus Christ. I was asked to do this for my home ward and I wanted to read through what I wrote, but I also want to add a little to it.
So I said, “ To be completely honest this is probably one of the hardest things I’ve been asked to do on my mission. Words can’t describe who my savior is to me, and the testimony I have of him throughout my mission.
I have had the opportunity to grow my relationship with my savior, and it’s been a magnificent blessing. I have been able to see his hand in my life more and more, more clearly as I put my focus on Jesus Christ. I’ve come to know for myself that Jesus Christ really did suffer for each of us each and everyone of us individually and he’s just waiting for us to reach out and to let him take our pains. I have been able to give up those burdens, as well as having to try to bear them on my own. There was a time when I knew in my head, but not on paper that my savior was there for us. But I didn’t actually know in my heart that he suffered there for me. When I realize that Jesus Christ was there for me, and not only for my friends that I taught or the missionaries next to me, I was able to give away all of the shame, the girl, the heartache, the sorrows I shoulder alone. That was the most freeing experience that I could ever have. The spirit has been able to be more present in my life and I truly know in my heart now that I have an older brother looking out for me who is always there . There is no sin that is too great no heartache that is too heavy because he has already been through that lesson. There’s no better person you can turn to. I can promise you that as you turn to Christ in the times of your trial you will be able to come to know our Savior just as I have.
I just wanted to add testimony on top of that testimony that I know that Jesus Christ perfectly knows us. He’s felt every little thing and I’ve been able to learn more about Jesus Christ and learn more about how he is my older brother and my friend. My mission has changed from here a lot. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to be a servant for the Lord, and I could be his hands here on the earth. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all the people that I served and I’m excited. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
